Samakhya E-Commerce Private Limited(the “Company” or “MyKanjee” or “we” or “ours” or “us”) is the owner of the websites: https://mykanjee.in/ https://seller.mykanjee.in/ as well as any other websites owned by it from time to time (collectively referred to as the “Website”) and the MyKanjee mobile applications (the “App”). At MyKanjee, we are committed to ethical collection, retention and use of information that you provide to us about yourself (“Personal Information/PII”) and protecting the privacy of people (the “User”) who visit/access our Website/App. We treat your privacy very seriously and this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how we use and share your personal information and how you can exercise your rights in relation to your personal information.

Who We Are?

The Website/App is a platform that facilitates a user to interact and connect with a diverse range of vendor/seller/service providers registered on the platform offering a multitude of services.

Our platform facilitates users in buying and selling pre-loved items, upcycling their sarees/clothing by connecting to local boutiques and accessing dry cleaning services, door to door delivery services, among others services. MyKanjee does not assume control or responsibility for the services offered/provided to or availed by our users on the Website/App. Users are required to independently evaluate vendors/ sellers and service providers and avail their services at their own discretion and risk. MyKanjee serves as a mere facilitator, connecting users with the services they require, however the responsibility for the outcomes of these transactions rest with the users themselves.

It is stated that any information that you provide to MyKanjee is subject to our Privacy Policy which governs our collection and use of your information. You understand and agree that through the use of the Services you consent to the collection and use (as set forth in the Privacy Policy) of this information, processing and use by MyKanjee. As part of providing the Services to you, we may need to provide you with certain communications, such as service announcements, notifications, and administrative messages. These communications are considered part of the Services and your MyKanjee user experience, which you may not be able to opt-out from receiving. What Information Do We Collect

We respect your right to privacy. At MyKanjee we collect and process only the personal information necessary for us to render and complete any services undertaken by you with MyKanjee. We collect two types of data and information from you.

We retain some non-personally identifiable information (the “Non-Personal Information”), such as your approximate geo-location, your web request, browser type, browser language, web pages you visit before or after visiting our Website or using the App, URLs, platform type, click numbers, landing pages, viewed pages and the order of those pages and time spent on pages etc.. However, in case of a situation wherein we are obliged to comply with the law or a statutory obligation or a legal process, we would be compelled to provide information about a customer but personally identifiable information will be disclosed with your consent.

Assignment, Merger and Sale

Your online transaction on MyKanjee is secure with the highest levels of transaction security currently available on the Internet. MyKanjee uses third-party payment partners for and on behalf of the Company for transactions made on the MyKanjee platform. You will be redirected to either a Secure Payment Gateway or Bank’s Internet Banking website to complete the payment transaction on the MyKanjee platform and therefore all collection and usage of Payment Data will be governed by the respective third-party privacy policies and the data protection laws and rules framed there under from time to time.

All credit card and debit card payments on MyKanjee are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways managed by leading banks. Banks nowadays use the 3D Secure password service for online transactions, providing an additional layer of security through identity verification.
