Who Are We?

The Website/App is a platform that facilitates a user to interact and connect with diverse range of vendor/seller/service providers registered on the platform offering a multitude of services.

Our platform facilitates users in buying and selling pre-loved items, upcycling their sarees/clothing by connecting to local boutiques and accessing dry cleaning services, among others services. MyKanjee does not assume control or responsibility for the services offered/provided to or availed by our users on the Website/App. Users are required to independently evaluate vendors/ sellers and service providers and avail their services at their own discretion and risk. MyKanjee serves as a mere facilitator, connecting users with the services they require, however the responsibility for the outcomes of these transactions rest with the users themselves.

It is stated that any information that you provide to MyKanjee is subject to our Privacy Policy which governs our collection and use of your information. You understand and agree that through the use of the Services you consent to the collection and use (as set forth in the Privacy Policy) of this information, processing and use by MyKanjee. As part of monitoring your performance for providing the Services to customers, we may need to provide you with certain communications, such as announcements, notifications, and administrative messages. These communications are considered part of the Services and your MyKanjee experience, which you may not be able to opt-out from receiving. By visiting, accessing or using the Website or App and checking the box for privacy policy, or providing information to us in any other format, you agree to and accept the terms of this Policy, as amended from time to time, and you consent to the collection and use of information/processing and use by MyKanjee in the manner set out in this Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy carefully and to periodically refer to it so that you understand it and its subsequent changes if any. Further you may be required to provide consents and approvals for collection and usage of data as per the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the Rules framed thereunder from time to time and the Company reserves the right to make changes to this Policy in accordance with the DPDP Act and Rules framed thereunder from time to time.

What Information Do We Collect

We respect your right to privacy. At MyKanjee we collect and process only the personal information necessary for us to render and complete any services undertaken by you with MyKanjee. We collect two types of data and information from you.

1. Non-Personal Information
We retain some non-personally identifiable information (the “Non-Personal Information”), such as your approximate geo-location, your web request, browser type, browser language, web pages you visit before or after visiting our Website or using the App, URLs, platform type, click numbers, landing pages, viewed pages and the order of those pages and time spent on pages etc.. This information is collected and retained for security reasons and so that we can audit and statistically track usage, audit our affiliates and calculate payments to third parties.

  • ▪ Financial Data includes your payment information, bank details and card details, PAN number.

  • ▪ Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of services you may have purchased from us, details about payments processed via our Website/App.

  • ▪ Technical & Location Data includes your geo location, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, IP address and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access the website and services.

How we protect your information

When you review your account information or avail services or order products online through our Website/App, MyKanjee uses a secure server to securely store your data which server is as per Internationally accepted standards

MyKanjee will keep your data only for the time period required for rendering the services undertaken by you with the Website/App or for which it is to be further processed. You can also ask for deletion of the data in this case the account closure procedure will be followed. Upon receiving the request for closure, all information will be deleted within two to three (2-3) business days.

If you would like to close your MyKanjee App account or Mykanjee Vendor App account, you can do so by raising a request in the account section. Select “delete account” from the account panel in the app and your request for account closure will be processed in 2-3 business days. Once the request is processed, your account will be deleted permanently.

Assignment, Merger and Sale

We may transfer or assign your information, without any notice, and without a need to receive your consent, to any third party as a result of change of control, consolidation, merger, acquisition or reorganization. You acknowledge that in the event of bankruptcy, insolvency or receivership, we may have no control over the use and transfer of your Personal Information subject however to the compliance with the DPDP Act in respect of personal data collected.
